FAQ
Who is Rosie Weaves?
Hi! I'm Rosie Blacher, the artist and maker behind Rosie Weaves. I'm a UK based artist working out of my studio in Buckinghamshire. I'm a dog lover, book enthusiast, musician, and food lover that hates to cook.
Are your weaves eco-friendly?
All of my weaves are created using second-hand, repurposed or biodegradable yarns. When selecting new yarn, I always purchase from UK suppliers and stick to fibres that are fully biodegradable. A lot of second hand yarn is acrylic, so this is present in my work. I hang my weaves on wood found in nature. I also use biodegradable packaging/stickers and post out my pieces in repurposed boxes.
Do you teach weaving classes?
At this moment in time, sadly not. Hopefully in the future this will be something I can offer.
Can I commission you for a weave?
Yes! I love working with customers to create the perfect piece. Fill out the contact form here with as much information as you can and we can work together to create something beautiful for you.
I have some old yarn I don't need, do you want it?
100%! Drop me a line at info@rosieweaves.com or send me a DM on instagram and we can arrange collection.
